I'm afraid this doesn't work. I tried the following steps:
1. Log into another client's SharePoint site in Internet Explorer.
2. Click Site Actions -> Edit in SharePoint Designer
3. It came back with my saved / cached login, saying I don't have access.
I also tried reinstalling SPD 2010. That didn't help either.
