Thanks Michael, exactly the info I was after.
From outside, it looks like a network routing issue, but within Office 365 services. I have a support request lodged to chase the issue.
My interest was why the Apple Mac didn't get impacted even though multiple Windows PC's have been - and you gave a good hint as to why this could be so.
