Hi,
I cannot seem to connect to Sharepoint on my Mac, using the Document Connection tool; the selection for 'Connect to a SharePoint Site' is grayed out. Relevant information below:
1. The version of Office suite was downloaded yesterday, it is Office for Mac 2011.
2. The version of Document Connection (also downloaded yesterday) is 14.3.8
3. I am running OS X 10.8.5
4. The SharePoint site that I am currently connected to is not SharePoint Online, but a different company share point site, and one which other users, who have Office for Mac 2011 for Business that was bought separately (NOT as part of Office 365) are able to connect to easily through Document Connection
5. My company has a midsize business plan for Office 365
Is it possible that the version of Document Connection which you download through the Office 365 website is the version that comes with the student version of Office for Mac 2011, and not the Home and Business version, which should allow me to access SharePoint through the tool? Is there some step that I am missing?
