I've got two distinct problems I'm wrestling with when using document connection on a mac to access sharepoint files.
First, I can connect with sharepoint fine, and most of the time I can access and edit the files. For the first few minutes after opening and editing a file, I can upload the changes okay. But after having a file open for a few minutes, it will no longer allow me to upload changes. Instead, it repeated asks for a user/password (doesn't accept or deny the password, just keeps putting up a new password window). At this point, I lose all access to sharepoint documents until I toss out the plist file "com.microsoft.word.plist." I'd like to figure out why this keeps happening.
Second, I can't seem to open emails stored on sharepoint as .msg files. By default, document connection seems to open the email as a text edit file, which doesn't work. I've tried "open with" micrsosoft outlook, but it merely creates a new email with the document as an attachment - and I have the same problem opening the attachment.
Any help with these issues greatly appreciated.
