I understand that you cannot sign in to Lync for Mac 14.0.7 version both on your iMac and Macbook. We have received many reports that customers cannot sign in to Lync for Mac v14.0.7 on Mac machines. After some further tests, we find that the issue occurs when we set the time zone as Asia location. If we change the time zone like Honolulu, New York, London, and Moscow, we can sign in to Lync.
Now I would like to confirm whether your time zone has been set as Asia. If yes, please try changing the time zone as a temporary workaround to check if the issue persists.
If it turns out to be the root cause of the issue, currently, Microsoft is fully aware of this issue and the engineers are actively investigating on it. We will post the latest news in your forum as soon as there are any updates on this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience. You understanding and patience will be appreciated.
