Document Connection Error 234882975

Hello - 

A colleague and myself are both receiving the following error when trying to access a single folder in a Sharepoint shared documents library. We can access all of the other folders in the library without issue. 

I have seen this error/question posed a couple of times on the forum but have not seen an answer that works.

Our OS is Mavericks 10.9.1

We are using Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac (not a Home or Student version)

I have checked for updates to both Microsoft Office and the OS and have not found any.

Can someone please suggest a resolution?
