Hi Luke,

I have read the entire thread and I understand you cannot activate Office for Mac 2011 on your computer.

As you can activate the product on other machines, these accounts should have no issues with relevant Office 365 services. The issue could be caused by the specific client. To further make sure whether the root cause is located in the client, I’d like to share my test account with you. You can check if you can use my account to activate your Office for Mac 2011.

Please note that there is a precondition that the Office for Mac 2011 for Mac should be downloaded from the Office 365 portal.

I have sent you a private message (PM). You can check my test account information there. To access the private message, you can follow the steps below.

1. Go to Your details section on the right of the community site.
2. Click Private messages.
3. Click the subject title of the message.

From my side, I can use my test account to activate Office client. If you cannot use the account to activate your Office for Mac 2011 client, the issue should be located in the specific client. I’m sorry that we have limited resources and support for such client issue. If this is the case, we’d like to involve our Office for Mac support. You can post the question in our Office for Mac forum. The engineers there will help to check relevant client configurations to make sure the successful activation. The forum address is provided as below. Thanks for your understanding.
