Lee,
I am using microsoft 365 thru the small business I work for. They do not have any kind of local deployment. We are using microsoft office 365 in the cloud for our email as far as I know. Not sure what you mean by DNS hosting provider. I work for home so access the internet thru AT&T verse.
I am doing what everyone else is doing to get outlook 2011 to work with microsoft 365. I am using microsoft 365 credentials to create an exchange account in outlook 2011.
I have checked the username and password several times. They are correct for accessing microsoft 365. When I put the username and password in the exchange account created in outlook 2011, outlook pulls down my entire email account but will not stay connected because I get the error message saying that the username and password are incorrect and I need to renter the password.
Do you have any other suggestions I can understand. I am not a network admin and we do not have a local deployment of office 365 or a DNS hosting provider.
