Hi Ali,

Sorry for any inconvenience it causes.

Currently, it is not a known issue with the new Outlook for Mac over http with no VPN. Based on the current situation, to further narrow down the issue, please use Remote Connectivity Analyzer via https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ to test Microsoft Exchange Web Services Connectivity Tests.
 
After you finished the test, click Expand All. Copy the result and send it to me.
 

To protect your privacy, I have sent you a private message. You can provide the test result by replying to it. To access the private message, please follow the steps below:
1. Go to the your details section on the right side of the community site.
2. Click Private Messages.
3. Click the subject title of the response to read the message.

Besides, I would like to share my test account with you. Please configure it to your new Outlook for Mac (Outlook 2015 for Mac). Then, try to connect it both in your company and at home to see if it can be connected. The test account is provided in the private message that I have sent to you.

Another thing I would like to confirm: are you able to login to Outlook Web App (OWA) at home?
