I have the same issue but don't find the answer acceptable to be honest. I have signed up for a 365 home subscription. I don't honestly care what the email address is as all I want is to be able to use office 365 online and at home and have the same experience. I also don't subscribe to your comment about 'it won't work' as I can log on with my outlook.com address on my iPhone and I do get a synchronised calender. So all I want is a way of logging on to my Office 365 account through the 365 / exchange option presumably so that I get a full synchronised calender which is what I am paying for. Thoughts on how this can be resolved will be very much appreciated as I've spent more time trying to resolve this than I do troubelshooting my mac for the last year
