RE: "An error occurred" activating Outlook for Mac

Hi GregGanfi,

To troubleshoot the issue, please make sure you are an Office 365 administrator or forward the case to your administrator.

As for the issue, I would like to confirm if you have checked the KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3015526/en-us (issue 2)? 

If the issue persists after trying the suggestion provided in the KB above, please collect the following information.
1.  What’s the version of ADFS server (2.0 or 3.0)?
2.  What’s the detailed version of Outlook for Mac?
3.  Does it work when using a non-federated user account to activate Outlook for Mac?
