Outlook for Office 365 ("Outlook 2015") issues after update to 15.6

I have just installed the latest update for Outlook for Office 365 (version 15.6) and have experienced the following issues so far:

1.  When I click in the search bar in the top right hand corner the cursor disappears completely.  This is new behaviour and did not occur in the previous version.

2.  In the weekly calendar view the top bar showing the day of the week and the date is cut off by more than 50% - this occurs whether or not the ribbon is showing or not.

I'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing these or any other issues, point 2 is so fundamental to the operation of the calendar that it seems inconceivable that it was not picked up in testing.
