I understand the time stamps are very meaningful to organize files and folders and things will be totally messed up if the time isn’t right, I regret to say that they will do be updated and we cannot restore the previous ones. I’d like to explain that the syncing process between the local folder and the cloud is complicated, OneDrive for Business client will always need to rewrite/update items to make sure they are exactly the same to the ones on the cloud, which may updates the time stamps.
We highly appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience being caused. We will keep improving the product to make it better and better.
