I understand you want to sync a library on a SharePoint site to your Mac. As you mentioned, we can only sync an OneDrive for Business library at present. We haven’t receive an official announcement that site libraries will be available to sync so far. To get the latest news about Office 365 for business, it is suggested you keep monitoring our Office Blogs and Office 365 Roadmap.
