I made the initial post but didn't realize I was signed into the wrong account.
I did try CrashPlan support but they weren't much help at first. They have not updated their guides yet to include Outlook 2014 for the Mac yet and their instructions for Outlook 2011 don't fit this version.
I believe the items were also emptied from the Trash because I did look there. Also, thank you for the Outlook Web App suggestion, I took a look at the Recover Deleted Items and see quite a bit of mail in there. I have contacted Chad to see if any of his items are in there.
What I was thinking about trying was to make a backup of the current profile and then use CrashPlan to restore the profile as it was 2 days ago. Is this possible and what would happen to any mail that has come into the exchange account since then? Would Outlook sync up to the cloud the now missing "new" mail or would the cloud push down the missing "new" mail?
