Office 2011 for Mac Shared Inbox disappearing folders

We have office 365 and 70% of our users are on Outlook 2011 for Mac ( Nothing unusual about that).

We are now getting regular instances of users with the correct delegate access permissions to another inbox ( shared mailbox or fully qualified mailbox)having issues whereby e-mails organized into a folder structure for future planning are disappearing! That is to say the folders soft delete simultaneously. We are able to re-instate the e-mails from within the OWA but they are no longer in the collated folder structure. This has now happened on a number of inboxes where there is No crossover of users having access to both or vice versa. Microsoft are currently of the opinion that the database is corrupt, this may be so but that does not answer the question as to why/how this is happening. have now been involved in an almighty email chain with different experts at microsoft and to date the only suggested solution is to rebuild the database and start again. Not really an ideal solution. Has anyone else had this issue? Still got it? resolved it? All client versions are on 14.3.2

(130206). Any suggestions welcome
