Based on my experience, this problem may be related to the browser issue, so please try another browser or another computer to see if it persists.

In addition, I recommend you use IE to edit your pages and please make sure that the SharePoint Online hostnames for your subscription is added to the Trusted Sites zone in Internet Explorer.
