This is Neo Zhu from Office365 support.  I’m glad to help you in this case.  Do you mean you can’t check the GAL with Outlook 2011 client  (global address list) ?

In Office365, Outlook2011 uses EWS to connect the mailbox and get the GAL information.  To make sure we can get the GAL information , please check the following steps:

1, Setup Outlook 2011 with mailbox  help.outlook.com/.../gg471164.aspx

2, Make sure there is no firewall , anti-virus or anti-spam service block the port 443 of the computer.

By the way, did the problem only occur on the Mac user? For your question , Currently, there is no LDAP Directory server we can use to query the GAL information.
