I have an issue that i cannot seem to figure out. I have been troubleshooting this for 2 days and just cannot seem to get anywhere.
This customer has Public Folders setup on O365. We have made a "Contacts" folder & imported 1800 contacts. All Windows/Outlook 2013 machines can see the contacts folder and it works well. The Mac (outlook 2011) sees nothing. Yes, the mac is subscribed.
To test, i went and created a new public folder, and created another "contacts" folder inside this test folder. I then opened up my account (Global Admin) on a windows/Outlook 2013 machine, and on a mac(outlook 2011).
On the Windows machine, i would drag 1 contact from Contact folder A, to Contact folder B, that 1 contact did show up on my Outlook for mac. I then repeated until i got 6 contacts showing in the public folder on the mac. Once i go to drag the 7th contact, that contact will never show up on the mac.
So, i thought, Maybe its a bad contact, so tried a few more. Nope, nothing helped.
So I removed all 6, and took that first contact that failed, and dragged it over, and it sync'd fine. Then i took the others that fail to sync, and they synced fine. I repeated till i got 6 contacts in the public folder, and no more would sync.
I then went and removed all 6 contacts, and went back to the main list and randomly grabbed 6 contacts, and dragged them all to the folder, and those 6 sync'd fine, but then #7 would not. I repeated this process with many random contacts.
The bottom line,
I cannot get the Public Folders on the mac to sync more then 6 contacts.
Can anyone shed some light on what might be the problem.
