I am looking to designed calendars on SP for all of our companies conference rooms. The purpose of these calendars would be so they our users can reserve the room and avoid any conflicts. I had made one back on SP 2007 but the problem was that it allowed double booking meaning two people could reserve the same room at the same time without any conflicts.
The original game plan was to do it in Exchange but 1) I am not sure if O365 Exchange can do rooms and 2) not all of our users use Outlook but everyone will have access to SP.
Recap:
I am looking to make a calendar for each conference room that does not allow more than one entry on the same time & date. Everyone also has the right to see what another person entered into the calendar.
Thanks in advanced!
Rich A.

Hi Savin,
Please understand the custom solution is out of our support boundaries. I have included some links for you that may be helpful, including the features available to developers for Office 365. Perhaps some of the other users on this community will have experience useful to your issue. You may also want to post your question to the MSDN forums for a better response for custom solutions.

Hi Jmocherman,
It’s true that after rejection, the document will not revert back to the previous version. Currently, it’s not support reverting back after the document being rejected.
Thanks,

Hi Rich,
In Office 365 Exchange Online Services, there is a feature called room mailbox, which will meet your requirement using Outlook. Please refer to the following link for more detailed information:
Create a New Room Mailbox
If you would like to use SharePoint to achieve your goal, I’d like to suggest you post a thread in our MSDN Forum which provides support for design and development.
Thanks,

Hi Ella,
I tried your method but does not work at all. I am using IE 9, fyi. Here is the link. Try on IE and Chrome/FireFox and you can see the difference.
Thanks.
Hi Nancy,
Take a look at the website at capasia-web.sharepoint.com I would like to change the background image (i.e. the one found at CapAsia logo) at Home and About Us page for instance.
I tried your method but it is reflected at the zone format instead.
Thanks.
Hi,
I am trying to add a Silverlight WebPart to our SharePoint Site. It is Office 365 and an internal site.
1. I haven't been able to add a new SL WebPart by providing an external XAP url. it always fails.
2. After having added the external XAP into a document library and using the url of the XAP from document library it works (partially).
3. Images referenced in Silverlight are not being shown. These images are not embedded in the XAP file, and are accessed from Blob Storage on Azure. The application works as expected when hosted outside of Sharepoint.
Does SharePoint block access to assets from external location. If so, is there a setting that can allow access?
Thanks in advance.
nc.
Dear Edward,
first of all: sorry for the delay. I was not in the office for a couple of days.
I looked at the link you provided and tried the suggested solution and it worked!
Sorry for having bugged you with this, but my previous search did not come up with that post.
Thank you,
Jürgen
There are a whole host of reasons why IE doesn't render backgrounds properly, generally because it doesn't comply with css standards. Start here:
#IWS_WH_Elem_LeftNav{padding-right:20px;}
Or
#IWS_WH_Elem_LeftNav{margin-right:20px;}
Hi nc,
According to the description, the following steps are for your reference:
1. Please follow Add Silverlight to a page using the Silverlight Web Part, and try to add the Silverlight Web Part into a SharePoint Online page again.
NOTE: After you have added the Silverlight application to the page, it is a good idea to test the different controls of the Silverlight application to make sure that they work.
2. If you have SharePoint on-premises environment, you can test the Silverlight Web Part in the on-premises environment to see if it works.
3. You can refer to Microsoft SharePoint Online for Enterprises Service Description to see blocked file types list.
