I've just started running Office 365 and have been attempting to send an email from outlook on my desktop, which has 5 separate PDF documents totalling approximately 7mb. I understand that I can send attachments up to 25 mb.
Each time I attempt to send the email there seems to be a process of Outlook syncing with the server which appears to hang the mail sending process. Eventually I get an error message that
Could not synchronize record: to Exchange server: Jane Monk with an error message - 18500
The message I'm attempting to send ends up in the drafts folder
In an effort to fix this problem I deleted an reinstalled by exchange account but I'm still getting the same problem.
I have been able to send the email with the attachments from the Outlook web app but as the documents were on my laptop it took several minutes for the docs to upload prior to them actually being sent.
As Office 365 has been rolled out through our company I tested sending an email from a collegues Mac and managed to send a 15mb documents - note it was a single attachment.
Could you please advise what the problem is and how to fix it
