Re: Email Deleted in Outlook not deleted in Office 365 or iPhone

Hi Dale,

Thanks for the updates.

Based on current situation, I’d like to confirm whether this issue occurs to emails in all folders or just one or two folders on Outlook for Mac.

Besides, please try to do the test which I mentioned in the previous post and let me know the result.
    1. Quit all applications.
    2. Hold down the Option key on the keyboard, and then click the Outlook icon in the dock. The Microsoft Database Utility will open.
    3. Click the plus [+] sign to add a new identity, and then type a name for the new identity. For example, type New identity.
      
    4. Set the newly create identity as the default. To do this, select the newly created identity, click the Action button, and then select Set as Default.
      
    5. Quit the Microsoft Database Utility, and then restart Outlook.

After that, set up your Office 365 account in the new identity with the steps below:
    1. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
      
    2. In the pop-up window, under Add an Account, click Exchange Account.
    3. On the Enter your Exchange account information page, type your email address. Under Authentication, type in User Name and Password.
    4. Make sure Configure automatically is selected, and then click Add Account.
      
    5. After you click Add Account, Outlook will perform an online search to find your email server settings. In the dialog box that asks if you want to allow the server to configure your settings, select the Always use my response for this server check box, and then click Allow.
    6. After that, you'll see the account you set up in the Accounts dialog box. Close the Accounts dialog box.

If you encounter any problems when trying these steps, please feel free to let me know. I’ll be glad to provide further assistance.

In the new identity, delete an email to see if the same problem persists and let me know the result. Dale, let’s keep a positive communication on this issue.
