My small firm develops desktop applications that utilize Excel functions (Solver add-in as well) in order to generate and create reports. With the coming of Office 365 and its web-based applications, I had a few questions in mind:
1. Is it possible to create applications that can call upon Excel routines/Solver add-in provided the users have a Office 365 Enterprise account?
2. Is it possible to generate .XLS reports by an application that can be installed on the desktop, which access the user's Office 365 web-Apps?
3. Can you point me to resources that would assist in creation of Office 365 Web-App compatible applications?
4. What are the differences between the Office 365 Home Premium vs. Enterprise?
