RE: Onedrive for business (Mac OS) crashes on startup

Hi Kareltjekareltje,

We would like to troubleshoot the problem, could you help us confirm the following information:

1. Whether you reinstall the Office via the following steps:

      a. Exit the application completely. Drag the app to the trash.
      b. Remove the “/Library/Application Support/OneDriveBusiness/” folder
      c. Reinstall the application.

2. Whether the problem occurred after you installed Office 2016 preview? Did OneDrive for Business work normally before?

3. You said “On my Mac Pro it keeps processing files, and taking up to 60% of CPU power all the time, but actually never does anything.”, could you provide the logs for this OneDrive for Business Mac client for us? You can Go up to the Menu bar and click Go and select Go to Folder. Type in ~/library/logs and click Go. OneDrive for Business will write the following logs:
       OneDriveBusiness-* logs (-, -ERR, -HTTP)
       StorageHTTPTraffic.log
       Client log (<Machine name>-MacBook-Pro.dev=<date/time stamp>.log

I will send a private message to you to collect the log.

4. For the OneDrive for Mac client crashes problem, please also capture the screenshots of the error report for us. To upload screenshots, click Use rich Formatting in this thread and select Insert/Edit Media.
