I have this problem as well with our Mac clients. What helped greatly was knowing that we needed to update the MX records on our domain. The other problem that we were running across was the Mac clients not syncing which turned out to be a very simply fix - Tools -> Run Schedule -> Edit Schedules... In our case Send & Receive All was not checked and therefore not running until the user prompted for send and receive. We checked this option and then edited it to run automatically every 5 minutes. I am hoping this problem is now solved for our Mac clients with this fix.
