Can't scroll in Office 365 inbox after updates

I did an update on OS X in the past week and now when I I try to scroll through my inbox with my track pad I can not scroll in the online version of office 365. My work computer, a Mac Book Pro also, does not have Yosemite on it and I do not have this problem when I use the online version of 365.

Thanks.

How do I move a file in SharePoint/OneDrive to a folder in the same SharePoint/OneDrive account? I'm on a Mac.

On my iMac in Safari, I have some documents in OneDrive/SharePoint that I would like to move in to a folder I created in OneDrive/SharePoint, under the same Office365 account. How do I move them? There doesn't seem to be a way.

Thank you!

Hi Sara,

You can try the OneDrive for Business Mac sync client to achieve your goal. For details, please refer to the following blog:

I am trying to get my data form Outlook for Mac 2011 into the new Outlook for Mac app for Office 365.

I tried the OLM and that was a disaster.

I set up a new profile and tried to import directly from Outlook 2011. I get an error message "this data contains an Exchange 2010 SP1 or older account. If imported, this account can't synchronize with the Exchange server.

How can I get my data into the Outlook app?

2. Please sign into Office 365 portal via browser, check if there is any issue at the Office 365 settings > Software page and confirm which Office products you installed.

3. Could you share some relevant screenshots of the error message? We'd like to look into the process and the error message the precisely. To upload screenshots, please click Use rich Formatting in this thread and select the Insert/Edit Media icon.
4. Do other users in your organization encounter the same issue?
5. Has Active Directory Federation Services been deployed in your organization?

After getting the information above, we'll proceed further.

I set a recurring appointment and invited 2 users.  I later cancelled that appointment and sent a cancellation to those 2 users which they accepted.  However, since that time both users have been receiving thousands of meeting invites for the cancelled appointment.  I can see them in my Sent folder, often being sent 5-6 every minutes.  The appointment is no longer in my calendar, but I can't seem to get my Outlook to stop sending this meeting request.  Please help.

Hi Gerhard,

Sorry about missing your response, I didn't get notification on your previous response somehow. Unfortunately, we don't have a reproable set of steps yet.

For the one Exchange account that mail doesn't sync automatically, do you know what Exchange server version you are connecting to? When you say 'no activity', are you saying you don't see any status communication or are you not getting mails and know it's not working?

If it's just not syncing at all - can you send me a private message and I'll walk you through turning on error logging so you can send logs to us to troubleshoot?

Thanks,

Sunder

Hi all,

I just bought a new Apple Macbook Pro for work and have attempted to download the suite. I have successfully downloaded the application but when I get to the screen where it says has the option of (1. adding a licence key 2. login to an existing O365 account or 3. use this as just an office reader). When I select option 2, it says it has server issues???? AM I the only one who has the problem? Can someone help me load this properly?

I appreciate all help given

Hi Jdepoort,

To narrow down the root causes, could you reinstall Office for Mac 2011, and try activating it after the reinstallation? To achieve that target, please perform the following steps:

1. Uninstall Office for Mac 2011 by following the steps included in this article: Uninstall Office for Mac 2011.
2. Sign in to Office 365 portal with the user account, and then click PC & Mac. If you’re an admin, go to Admin> Settings  > Office 365 Settings > Software.
3. On the Office page, select a Language, and then click Install. For more information about the installation, please see: how to install Office on you PC with Office 365.
4. After the installation completes, login to the application to activate it.

If the issue persists even after reinstalling the application, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Then we’ll provide further suggestions based on your updates. We appreciate your time and cooperation.

Best Regards,
Frank

RE: Problems importing data into the new version of Outlook for Mac

Hi Richard,

I understand that you want to transfer the data from Outlook for Mac 2011 client to Outlook for Mac client. Generally, if you set up the Office 365 account with Exchange connection type, we don’t need to transfer the mailbox’s data manually. The data will be downloaded automatically to the new Outlook for Mac client with Exchange connection type. Therefore, if you want to transfer the data between Outlook clients, it should be a specific Outlook client side behavior.

I will try my best to answer the questions for you.

Regarding Q1 and Q2 and Q5, generally, if you set up the account with Exchange connection type, it won’t loss emails. And you don’t need to move the public folders manually. Moreover, the account will work well on the iPhone if you set up the account with Exchange connection type.

Regarding to Q4 and Q5, they are specific client side questions. In our forum, we focus on the issues on Office 365 online services. Therefore, I recommend you post the issue in Outlook for Mac forum for dedicated support. Experts in that forum can provide more help. Your understanding is highly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your update.

As far as I know, Partner Action Pack includes 5 E3 licenses. When you mentioned “reduce the license number from 1 to 0 on the office 365 subscription”, do you mean that you have purchased one more E3 license except for the 5 E3 licenses, now you want to cancel it?

In this situation, I would like to collect some information about your Office 365 tenant, so that we can check the detailed information from our side. To protect your privacy, I have sent you a private message. Here are the steps to access the Private Message:
1. Go to Your details on the upper right corner of the forum.
2. Click Private messages.
3. Click the subject title of the response to read the message.

Best Regards,
Anna
