Mail app on computer not syncing previous emails

I am using Mail 6.2 and it is not syncing past February 5. I believe that is when I updated Mail. My mobile devices (iPhone 4s and Ipad mini) both have all previous emails, the only app that doesn't sync past Feb. 5 in the computer. I am running OSX 10.8.2.

I previously had MS Outlook installed on my Mac Pro.  After installing Outlook 365 to my Mac Pro I discovered all emails from the previous Outlook was deleted.

My Outlook 365 works great.  However, my old Outlook emails are gone.

Can I recover my old Outlook email on my Mac?

Thanks.

Can someone please explain how to recover email lost during setup?  I previously used Microsoft Outlook for Mac on my Macbook Pro.  I installed 365 as directed and all my previous Outlook email was deleted from my file.

I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Install Office for Mac

I purchased Microsoft 365 E3 plan for my business.   I was able to figure out how to install the software for my PC, but when I went to install on my Mac, the directions indicated that I need to have a previous version of Office for Mac before I can update to 365.   Is that correct?  If not, how do I download it?

Hi Steven,

Does your Emails sync in Mobile Devices with Exchange Online using Active-Sync? If so I would like to reconfigure the profile with Mobile Devices and check the result.

For more information, see http://help.outlook.com/en-us/140/dd936215.aspx

Hi Kullmeier,

For the time being, printing contacts via OWA (Outlook Web app) is not available. I suggest you submit feedback.
If the service is requested frequently, the product team may include it in the future releases.
Your time and efforts are highly appreciated.

Based on the situation, you can use Outlook 2007 or later to achieve the goal as a workaround. You can refer to the following article to connect Outlook to your account.

Hi pcaudill,

I want to confirm the following information:
1. What the “Outlook 365” means, is it the Outlook 2013 desktop application or the Outlook Web App (OWA)?
2. Where did you download the “Outlook 365”, was it from the Office 365 Home Premium?

Based on this situation, I suggest you check if the deleted emails still exist in OWA. If yes, this is probably a client issue. Please try to find a solution in Office for Mac Community Forum.

Thanks,
Allen Zhang

Hi Nancy, so based on going to Office 365 Portal>Downloads it gives me the option to update Office 11 or Office 8.  I can't install w/out upgrading an existing version of office for Mac.   Please help me understand this - does my $240 a year subscription allow me to install Office 365 on my Mac that does not have a previous version of Office for Mac on it?  Unless I'm missing something, I need to buy a copy at $100+ then upgrade via the subscription that I just purchased.  This doesn't seem right, but I'm not seeing an option to download it.

Hi Bruce

Is this the same for the Office 365 Small Business Premium Trial - I purchased 365 SB P1 thinking that included being able to use Word and Excel but it does not so trying out the Premium version.  However I do not seem to have the same options as you noted above.

Any help would be much appreciated - I have a report due this evening!

Thanks in advance

Hi there! Does anyone know how to create email paper & letter paper templates in Outlook for Mac?

It seems that this is only possible in Outlook for Office. Surely Office for Mac should also offer this facility?

Hope anyone can help me.....

Hi PostCreative,

Office 365 Small Business Premium includes Office application for 5 PCs/Macs per user.

You can find the link as the following steps:
1. Login to Office 365 Portal (https://portal.microsoftonline.com).
2. Click gear icon on the right corner of the top navigation, click Office 365 settings.
3. Click software on left navigation.
4. On the Office page, select a Language, and then click Install.

In addtion, the latest version of Office application for Mac is Office 2011 at present.

Best Regards,
Bruce Zhou

So frustrating!

I just purchased a new MacBook Air. I work with an organisation that uses Office 365, that ostensibly comes bundled with the MS Office suite.

After almost two hours of searching, I can't find any download links to the Office suite anywhere on the Microsoft site!  How on earth do I download MS Office? I am paying for it, but can't download it!
