I did a test from my side (same chrome version but OSX is 10.10.2). I did not encounter the issue you had. Given this situation, I would like to confirm some information below:
1. Please check if the issue occurs with Chrome on Windows PC.
2. Do other MAC users in your organization encounter this issue?
3. Please update the OSX to 10.10.2 to see if there is any improvement.
