Hi Matthew,

For the OneDrive for Business on Mac problem, could you help us troubleshoot the problem first? We’d like to confirm the following points:

1. Please try to add some files to the OneDrive for Business synced folder on your computer, then check whether the files can be uploaded to the OneDrive for Business online library.

2. Check whether you have the ‘Repair’ option, if you currently are able to have the Repair OneDrive for Business when right clicking the icon, please try it and let us know the results.

3. Click Preferences > About > Unlink OneDrive for Business to stop the sync, and recreate the sync to that same library to check if there’s any update.

Please feel free to post back with any updates, we will provide further help. You can provide more details such as the screenshots. To upload screenshots, click Use rich Formatting in this thread and select nsert/Edit Media.

Thanks,
Elaine

Oleg - Try to manually update by going to Help=>check for Updates in Outlook=> click on "Manually" and then Check for Updates.

Although, you may raise the problem in the correct forum answers.microsoft.com/.../macofficeo365

Hope this will help you!

Cheers,

One Drive Business Beta Mac Not Syncing

Hello, how is everyone today.

I know, I am using the beta client of the One Drive for Business (ODFB) system, however a pretty fundamental function doesn't seem to be working for me.

I have my ODFB folder setup, on my desktop and I can happily see all of my files. I can open them, close them, save them, and edit them. It's great. However none of the changes I make on my iMac (OSX Yosemite) are being pushed back up to my one drive. And so when I try to open a file on any other PC / Browser version of One Drive, they are all out of sync. Weeks old document without changes linger in the cloud and kind of make this service useless to me.

I use my iMac as my main work desktop. I then go onsite around the world and once i leave the office, I am greeted by out of date documents.

I tried to re-installed the beta today, but that didn't help. Any suggestions ?

HI Anna,

I can see that now, but still cannot cancel or assign the E3 license from the batch of (5).  The Purchase Service does nothing on my admin page.

Perhaps this is all cancelled now? Can you confirm?

Hi Jose,

I notice you replied to the thread
http://community.office365.com/themes/groups/generic/forums/thread.aspx?ForumID=153&ForumThreadID=291256&GroupKeys=en-us/ and have similar issue. And I would like to collect some more information to better understand your situation:

1.The detailed version of your system.
2.The detailed version of your Outlook for Mac.
3.Regarding the error message “To see this event, you'll need Editor or higher permissions for this shared calendar”, could you confirm what permission has been assigned to them? If you are not an Office 365 global admin, please contact your admin to confirm about this. Moreover, if he assigns you a higher permission like owner, will the issue persist?
4.Does the issue affect any other users if they add the shared calendar?
5.Does the issue occur on Outlook 2010/2013 or Outlook Web App?

Thanks for the details.

Best Regards,
Alex

Many of my documents will use 8.5 inches x 13 inches, otherwise known as US Folio

However, the US Folio size, while among the choices, cannot be clicked to be used as option. How can I do this?

I have the exact same issue as you.

It started after upgrading the OS from Mavericks to Yosemite.

100% CPU usage. And somehow when "OneDrive For Business" is running, DropBox also starts using lots of CPU...

Hi Matthew,

I notice you replied to the thread http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/153/t/319095.aspx and have a similar issue. For further investigation, let’s focuses on one specific user and I would like to collect some more information:
1.The detailed version of Outlook for Mac. And does he use any other Outlook client or mobile devices?
2.Are all the recurring meetings are duplicated?
3.If you disabled all the clients including Outlook for Mac and mobile devices, and create a new recurring meeting in Outlook Web App, is it duplicated?

Moreover, if you are able to reproduce the issue, please provide the steps at your convenience. Thanks for your time and efforts.

Best Regards,
Alex

Richard,

We have a couple of users seeing something similar.  In one case for us, there are hundreds of duplicates for recurring meetings specifically.  Our users are on Outlook 15.8.2 and possibly Outlook 15.6.  In one case the user only sees them in his OWA.  In another's they are duplicating everywhere.  I am also looking to replicate this.

No-one PM'd me. So I think this thread is dead. I've been dealing with lots of Mac users post-migration. My advice is this (seems to mostly work)

1) Update to Yosemite

2) Perform all software updates

3) Check and apply all Office 2011 Updates (Several times, reboot machine after each update)

4) Install New Outlook

5) Check and apply for New Outlook Updates (Several times, reboot machine after each update)

6) Now try

7) Remove any accounts in New Outlook and Re-add if there are sync problems

This post may have been for an older version (15.6), as the newer version (15.8.x) seems to work a lot better. That may also explain the absence of a PM. Not sure.

I might also add that you may want to remove all office for mac apps using "appcleaner" by freemacsoft, and create a new outlook database.

Also, the nuclear option of creating a new user on the mac after all the updating isn't a bad idea either.

My account has a license to Office 365 Small Business Premium.  I have this account activated on 2 devices (both Windows 7 with Office 2013 installations).  I wanted to try Outlook 2013 on my MacBook Air with OSX 10.9.5.  I used the installation download option from my Office 365 software download page.

When I try to activate Outlook, I receive the error message "We couldn't find a subscription connected to your account."  Really?  Then how is it that I am using this account for 2 other PCs?  What am I doing wrong?

Hi Angela,

To narrow down the issue, I'd like to confirm the following information:
1. What is the version of your Mac?
2. Regarding "after several days it lets me back in", could you please send us detailed information?
3. Do you download the suite from Office 365 portal? Have you installed the latest update for Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac?
4. Can you provide us with a full screenshot of the error for investigation?
To upload screenshots, click Use rich formatting in this thread and select Insert/Edit Media.

Regards,
Hale
