Re: Office on the iPad and iPhone

Hi TheAdminWannabe,

If your constraint is only regarding to Office Web Apps then Office 365 has already been launched my plans with having itself Office Web Apps with iPad and iPhone stable and consistent set up, refer to the Use Office Web Apps on your Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone.

For plan and pricing you can contact to Contact Support for a billing or subscription issue and Office community http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-office_install?auth=1 .

Thanks,

Re: Office 365 Calendar on Outlook 2011 (MAC) is not publishing correctly to exchange

Thanks.  The problem seems to have been that the copy on the calendar in outlook on the mac had a number of items which weren't syncing with exchange.  there was an option to purge a cache and resynch the entire calendar.  when i did that i lost the 30 odd items which weren't syncing, but the synch is now fine

Installer Download too slow?

Hi.

I'm trying to download and install the english version of office 365 (office 2011 for mac), but the download speed is abnormally slow. (Between 2 and 4 kb/s!!!... or about 6 days remaining).

I'm in Germany and my ISP is the Deutsche Telekom.

My internet connection speed is 16.000, and other downloads/uploads are normal.

I'm downloading through safari.

Any help would me much appreciated (is there maybe another server/mirror that I can use?)

Not the best experience to start using all the "benefits"of the cloud, if you know what I mean. I believe in the subscription system and am actually subscribed (and very happy) to adobe's creative cloud, but it needs to work.

Thanks in advance

Re: Installer Download too slow?

So I've now tried with firefox (download never started after 5 min) and finally I am using a download software (this way I hope to be able to resume the download in the middle if necessary). Amazingly, the speed is much higher (although still pretty shameful) at about 50kb/s, estimating 4 to 9 hours, because its driving 10 connections at the same time.

I can't wrap my head around the fact, that this is a cloud offering, download only, trial version (you're supposed to be won over by the offering and service being offered) and the download speed stinks.

Right now its frozen at 0B/s.... connection lost... sigh

Re: Installer Download too slow?

Hotmail's Smart filter thinks the emails from this forums are suspicious... really?

Re: Installer Download too slow?

So, suddenly after half an hour slow speeds and losing connection, it started downloading fast and it's now done.

buy the bicycle before you can rent the car

Re: buy the bicycle before you can rent the car

Hi Tom,

Office application is included in Office 365 Small Business Premium, Office 365 Midsize Business, Office 365 Enterprise E3. Also Office 365 ProPlus is available as an additional plan. So if you want to subscribe an Office 365, you can consider subscribing a plan including Office applications.

Here are some links for your reference:

Excel - pivot tables

Will I be able to use all the features of Microsoft Office 2013 on web based Office 365? I need to use pivot tables

Re: Excel - pivot tables

Re: Share Calender on Ipad

Lowest-common-denominator answer for a readable version: You can subscribe to a published calendar via CalDAV.

Alternatively, Google Apps' ActiveSync allows you to fully manage read/write shared and delegated calendars.

Re: Office on the iPad and iPhone

Pratik,

Thank you for your answer. I see how getting the Office Web Apps will help you READ a document from a smart phone but I did not see how you can WRITE (edit) the Office document.  Is read-only all we will have access to natively?

Thanks

TAW
